One of the BEST stir-fry dishes I have ever created. Incorporating market-fresh bok choy adds a wonderful texture from the leafy greens to the crisp crunch of the stalk. Each perfectly cooked prawn is surrounded by an abundance of rich flavor without a heavy sauce.

My interpretation anyway. Recipe from Bon Appétit magazine, June 2007
Seasoned-grilled nori, sticky rice, red miso, marinated grilled flank steak, and grilled eggplant with a green onion-sesame puree.

Chicken Curry ~ Gang Gai | Source: thaitable.com | Market Fare, Thai dish.
A satisfying Thai dish with just a handful of aromatic ingredients. You can omit the chicken, if desired. The results will be equally pleasant.

Last in my newspaper recipe series. Has potential! Incredibly fast to the table, healthy, low salt, packed with greens. Downside: lacks any distinct flavour. This salad’s savior is the dressing with green onions, whilst consuming mandarin oranges, avocado, and shrimp, simultaneously. Recipe inside!

This is a fantastic Thai recipe from Food and Wine. I replaced the fresh ginger ingredient with galangal and can’t say enough about coconut rice. The sweet crunchy texture on top of the soft rice is irresistable. Prepared, adapted, and presented by poutingoverpeas.com (playswithfood)

This papaya salad is sweet, spicy, cool, and crisp. A great recipe to scale down as you need. Add as much or as little dressing to the salad as you’d like. Grilled Copperhead Salmon or perhaps Sea Bass (mmm!) served with this flavourful salad make a perfect spring or summer dish.

The slightly sweet, yet not overpowering popular hoisin-garlic marinade makes this quick-to-the-table dish an instant favourite. These asian lettuce wraps can be vegetarian or made with ground chicken, beef, or any meat you enjoy.

Fantastic flavours! I couldn’t be more pleased. A light and healthy recipe for all to enjoy. The sauce mixture of dijon, soy sauce, olive oil, and garlic is top-notch. Inspired by Ina Garten’s Barefoot Contessa recipe. Prepared, adapted, and presented by poutingoverpeas.com (playswithfood)

I found this recipe in a recent Williams Sonoma catalog and thought I’d give it a go. If you love spicy food, this may be for you. The recipe is quick to the table. Prepare all of your ingredients in advance and you’ll be eating in less than 10 minutes. I’ll be making it again! [...]
